In these parts, it's rarely referred to as Memorial Day Weekend...but rather Ski to Sea Weekend. This is the highlight of everything great about where we live and who we are. An 8 leg race that reunites old friends and competitors to travel from Baker to the Bay. Aside from the race itself there's barbecues, beer gardens, parades, the farmers market. For me it's finally a Saturday where I can sleep-in and make a delicious breakfast after a garden campfire and perhaps one too many beers the night before!Here are a couple items from years past...Check out the retro pic (if you can call retro 4 years ago) of me tackling the road bike leg...yikes...
