Week 2, a few stumbles but all is well

The collar bone is feeling great and the body and mind are enjoying a little rest without feeling like I should be riding 10 -15 hours a week. I've also found great satisfaction in taking a guilt free nap in the middle of the afternoon when I'd typically be working in the yard, walking the dog, riding the bike or some other activity to stay busy.  I never take naps unless I'm either hung over or have the flu, but moving forward, I'm definitely planning on fitting them in more often.  It sort of feels like I've powered down and plugged myself into the wall for a recharge.  The collar bone is actually pretty comfortable right now and I feel huge improvements with every passing day.  I hope that means all is on schedule for a speedy recovery but I'll know more about that tomorrow after my first follow-up x-ray.

I've been thinking about starting to ride again on the trainer but I just can't get myself to do it.  It's one thing to ride a trainer in the middle of Winter when you're going stir crazy and it's 30 outside but while it's 75 and sunny, I'm digging just sitting in the backyard or on the beach.  Lots and lots of sitting....

UPDATE:  X-ray's were good to go and the arm is healing exactly as it should...way to go arm!
