Ninja Speed Bumps

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The collar bone is the most commonly broken bone in the human body, especially for a cyclist.  I figured it would happen sooner then later but the manner in which I broke it was so unspectacular, I feel like it's just practice for the next time I break it.  Since I don't care for typing with one hand I will keep the story short.  Riding my bike home from Tuesday night race laps I took a short cut through a very dark Cornwall Park and was attacked by Ninja speed bumps.  In an effort to fight back I was removing my shades when bucked into the air while my hands were off the bars.  Up, over and directly onto my shoulder and head.  I didn't go quietly and decide the best thing to do is to get up and throw my bottle on the ground and grab my bike while giving the death stare to the passing driver who didn't take the time to see if I was ok.  Then the pain hit in a very sobering way.  Walked out of the park and hitched a ride to the ER for confirmation of what I had already known.  My Summer has officially been redefined ... but perhaps that's not such a bad thing..
