I took the day off work with Linds last Friday to reward myself for making it to 32 years of age. The last year was pretty fantastic in offering so many new and spectacular adventures, places, friends and accomplishments. I’ve occasionally reflected on how fast a year goes by, but this year was so different, unusual and full, I feel like time slowed to a much more satisfying pace. Our day went like this…

8 am: 40 minute run with Monte
9:30 am: Hash browns at the Harris Ave Café with the folks
11 am: Adventure Hike to Chain Lakes from Artist Point / Mt Baker
7 pm: Grand Ave Ale house for some food, beer and a surprise visit by a marching funk band
11 pm: Bayou on the Bay...the party rolls on
11 pm: Wild Buffalo for a continuation of the funk music, beer and good times
1 am: Somehow end up in the basement of the Buffalo with tall boys of Rainier
3 am: Lights off – Thanks for coming out!
